Mayor of Gibsons on the Sunshine Coast, Bill Beamish, calls on residents to do more. He has been a great ally to bears and the Sunshine Coast Bear Alliance. Beamish recently reminded residents that 14 bears were put down on the Coast in 2019, mostly due to attractants being left out.
